The story
The homeowner had repeated sediment problems that clogged shower heads several times a year. The house also had pressure spikes up to 80–90 PSI, so the solution included filtration, pressure reduction, and main shutoff replacement.

The house had an unusually large 1-1/2-inch copper supply line for a residential property, which made the setup closer to a commercial-style installation. A matching 1-1/2-inch filter was ordered from Germany and installed with a gauge to help monitor the system. A pressure reducing valve was added to control high pressure, and the filter was protected behind an irrigation box to reduce sun exposure.
Work completed
Work completed. Installed a 1-1/2-inch sediment filter with gauge, replaced the main shutoff ball valve, installed a pressure reducing valve, rebuilt the exterior copper supply setup, and covered the filter area with an irrigation box for protection.
Final result
Final result. The house received a stronger water supply setup with sediment control, pressure regulation, and a new main shutoff valve. The installation gave the small residential house a commercial-style exterior water service arrangement.
